Malacca Trip

Had a fun family outing to malacca from 25-27 August 2007. Think my next trip will be months away as I m starting a new job next week.. boohoo!! Quite panicky abt the new working environment and new colleagues.. hope everything turns out well.

Coming back to Malacca trip, it was rather fun.. we drove in together with our 2 darlings Ferlin & Jayden.. though there was a lot of things to pack, but its worth every effort as we could spent quality time with them, without any disturbances...no cell phones ringing etc etc..The journey was very smooth but we were quite worried abt the safety in Malaysia as recently the crime rates shoot up. When we were there, I read in the papers that a couple with a 7 yr old daughter was robbed at the shopping we were in that same day(Sat)..phew... really sweat men...hope they are doing fine now.

Day 1(sat)
we went to the historical places and then Mahkota Parade to do shopping, the place changes so much. The shopping are new and more shops, definitely not like last time. U need hours to complete the entire mall. We shop till like 9 plus then head back to hotel. Then we recall, ai yo forgot abt dinner, then hubby and me roam the streets for food.. quite dangerous to walk along the streets at night cos there are funny pple staring at you at times.. quite scary....

Day 2(Sun)
We went back to the mall to shop cos couldnt finis shopping on the first day. But we got to leave at 5 + pm becos ferlin wet her pants.. boohoo........ there goes my shopping spree...sigh..

Day 3(Mon),
Hubby wanted to take some photographs before we leave for Sing and we walk down all the way to the historical place .. without the kids, I left them in the hotel with my maid... yahoo.. finally got some time on our own.. ha ha ha

So in all, I did not manage to buy anything as most of the time got to attend to kids.... sigh...but overall we had an njoyable trip.
